Covered in BEEteS

I've been thinking about starting a blog for a long time. I have a lot of reasons to. I am a diabetic that needs more accountability, support, and frankly, advice on what the hell I am doing. I go through phases of excellent control and care, and periods of burnout and misplaced feelings of "whatever" that I know are dangerous.

I also have a lot of reasons that I should NOT start a blog. I am a teacher, and I do not want to take the chance of parents "finding" me. I am a teacher, and I often do not have time for extracurricular writing. Also, I am a teacher that gets very lazy when she gets home.

So yes, and no. But apparently yes.

And no, I do not feel like I am always "covered" in diabetes. But I do love Eddie Izzard to death, and if you are not COVERED IN BEEEEEEES you might not "get" me.

Let's not dwell on the fact that I had an aunt die of a bee sting, and just enjoy the chronic illness/British comedian mash up humor, shall we?
